Under the supervision of the Manager, Emergency Services and the Clinical Coordinator/Chief paramedic. the L M Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for providing safe ambulance transportation and patient care for patients.

EDUCATION
EMS certification/licensure at the EMT level, other health care licensure /certification, or other subject matter expertise in the area of healthcare, public safety, EMS, or education is preferred
EXPERIENCE
Pre-hospital experience, other healthcare experience, or other needed area of expertise experience strongly encouraged. Must maintain certification as a CT and RI EMT
LICENSURE
State of CT EMT Certification required, EMS certification/licensure at or above the EMT level in RI is preferred at hire or must be obtained in the first 6 month of employment, other health care licensure/certification desirable, Current AHA BCLS is required.
